Dr. Dayana is a native Spanish speaker, born and raised in Tooele, UT. She completed her Associate’s Degree in General Studies from Utah State University while she attended Stansbury High School. She obtained her dual Bachelor’s degrees in Biology and Psychology with a minor in Chemistry from the University of Utah. She then attended the University of Utah School of Dentistry and graduated with her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree. Dr. Dayana decided to further her training and completed a 1-year General Practice Residency at the VA Hospital in Salt Lake City where she gained experience and learned more about endodontics, oral surgery, including implant dentistry, and general dentistry.
She has been able to serve on multiple humanitarian trips to both the Philippines and the Dominican Republic and she strives to continue to help the underserved communities in both her own community and around the world. During her free time, Dr. Dayana enjoys reading, hiking, skiing, and trying new foods/restaurants, calling herself an amateur foodie.
